SUBMISSIONS
THE 2027 ELLISON AWARDS
Submissions for the inaugural Ellison Awards open November 1, 2026 and close April 30, 2027.
Eligible works must have been officially released between January 1 and December 31, 2026.
2027 Submission Fee: $300 per entry, per category
The submission fee supports the administration, eligibility review, judging, certification, venue, ceremony production, and awards operations required to carry each entry through the Ellison Awards consideration process.
ELIGIBILITY AT A GLANCE
Recording must have been officially released between January 1 and December 31, 2026
All audible vocals must be AI-generated. Human vocal performances are not eligible
Instrumental-only recordings are not eligible
Entrant must be 18 years of age or older
Each recording may compete in only one genre category, plus any General Field categories for which it is eligible
Submission fees are non-refundable. A submission fee guarantees consideration only. It does not guarantee eligibility, nomination, favorable judging, or an Ellison.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Every eligible entry proceeds through the same published awards process. Submission volume, financial contribution, sponsorship, membership, personal relationships, or affiliation with AEMAS do not increase an entry's likelihood of nomination or winning.

Please review your entry carefully before submitting. Limited corrections to entry information are permitted before the submission deadline, subject to the entry’s review status. Audio replacements are not permitted. AEMAS may request missing information or clarification during eligibility review.

Submission fees are non-refundable unless the event is canceled. Payment guarantees consideration only, not eligibility, nomination, favorable judging, or an Ellison Award.

INCLUDED CEREMONY ADMISSION
One admission is included per completed category entry, including discounted and complimentary entries. Bands and duos receive one per entry, not per member; AI personas do not add admissions.
The entrant may assign included admissions to themselves or named guests. Spouses, family and other guests buy tickets unless assigned an included admission ticket. Ticketing fees may apply. Travel, lodging and parking are not included.
Verified entrants will receive venue redemption instructions when ticketing opens and select seats from the available allocation. The venue issues the actual tickets.
