THE 2027 ELLISON AWARDS
Submissions for the inaugural Ellison Awards open November 1, 2026 and close February 28, 2027.
Eligible works must have been officially released between January 1 and December 31, 2026.
2027 Submission Fee: $500 per entry, per category
ELIGIBILITY AT A GLANCE
Recording must have been officially released between January 1 and December 31, 2026
All audible vocals must be AI-generated. Human vocal performances are not eligible
Instrumental-only recordings are not eligible
Entrant must be 18 years of age or older
Each recording may compete in only one genre category, plus any General Field categories for which it is eligible
Submission fees are non-refundable. A submission fee guarantees consideration only. It does not guarantee eligibility, nomination, favorable judging, or an Ellison.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Before beginning your submission, have the following ready:
Official release link
High-quality audio file
Recording title and release date
Primary genre selection
General Field category selection, if applicable
Names and roles of human creative contributors
Primary AI tools or platforms used
NOTE:
Once submitted, your entry is final. No changes, corrections, replacements, edits, or updates will be accepted.
HOW SUBMISSIONS WORK

CREATE YOUR ACCOUNT
Create your AEMAS entrant account.

COMPLETE YOUR ENTRY
Provide your recording information, category selection, creative disclosures, and required materials.

RECEIVE YOUR ENTRY ID
After successful submission, your entry receives a permanent AEMAS Entry ID.

ELIGIBILITY REVIEW
AEMAS reviews the submission to determine whether it meets the published eligibility requirements.

JUDGING
Eligible entries move forward to anonymous judging. Judges receive the Entry ID and judging materials, not the entrant’s identity.
